Wilderness First Aid
What: 2-Day (16 hour) Wilderness First Aid Course covering the basic knowledge and skill to assess and treat sudden Illness and Injuries in times where access to healthcare will be delayed. Class will consist of classroom lectures and discussions, and skills practice and scenarios outdoors.You will want to bring your normal every day carry items and packs that you carry while hiking/camping

Cost: $285.00 / person
Student Costs covers all course materials, basic supplies, and Lunch will be provided during the course, as well as a First Aid Kit.
Lodging and Meals outside of class:
- Lodging, Breakfast and Dinner are students own responsibility.
- Dining and Lodging can be found in the nearby communities of Lowville, Turin, Lyons Falls, Glenfield, Croghan, Beaver Falls, and Carthage.
- There are a number of local campgrounds; such as Whitaker Park and Whetstone Gulf for tent campsites.

This course will include “Hands-Only CPR” instruction (no certification). However, participants are encouraged (but not required) to get AHA or equivalent CPR certified prior to this course
