A Wilderness First Responder Certification via a Hybrid Virtual Instructor-Led Course
About this Course
This Hybrid Virtual Instructor-Led Course is the very same NASAR Wilderness First Responder course you would traditionally attend in person, however, adapted to be largely virtually presented while minimizing as much as we could the in-person presence. This Course will be virtually conducted via Zoom Lectures along with discussions and further course work on Facebook in a Private Group. There will be 2 in-person Skills Sessions to bring together the knowledge and put skills into practice.
Schedule
Lectures will be on Tuesdays and Thursday from 6:30pm to 9:30pm via Zoom
Course Officially Start Tuesday, October 13th, 2020 Mid-Term Skills Session, Saturday & Sunday, November 7-8th Final Skills Session, Saturday & Sunday, December 5-8 Course Ends following Written Exam, December 8

Remainder due upon close of Registration on September 30th
Due to the short timing of registration and logistics, the Cancellation/Refund Policy is as follows:
Deposit is nonrefundable
Withdrawing from Course prior to Course Start: All monies minus Deposit will be refunded
Withdrawl from the course after Course Start: no refunds
Textbook is required
The textbook can be purchased on Amazon for $53 brand new. Links will be provided in the Registration confirmation email
Attendance to both Skills Weekend Sessions required to receive certification.
Lodging is available on-site via Camper or Tent
Meals will be the responsibility of the student. Space will be available to set up camp cooking equipment or a grill.
